The Dorothy Molter Museum in Ely, Minnesota is dedicated to preserving the memory of Dorothy Molter, also known as the "Root Beer Lady."  Dorothy lived in the BWCA on Isle of Pines island on Knife Lake for more than 50 years alone. 5000-7000 canoers, snowmobilers, and skiers stop for root beer, maybe you were one of them.
