Food selections are by Richmoor & Backpacker's Pantry. Menus are supplemented with fresh food selections: steaks, chicken breasts, eggs, bacon, and even fresh fruit. A special goodie is our hearty River Point Cookie--full of granola, raisins, nuts, and chocolate.

"Comfort Plus" Complete Outfitting Package
"Roughing It Has Never Been So Easy"

This is the Expedition Package you have been looking for.  An elite ultralight package for the discerning canoe/camper who wants the most in comfort and convenience with amenities that defy the concept of "roughing it".  Highlighted by the Souris and We-no-nah Kevlar canoe and Crazy Creek chair, traveling becomes more efficient, faster, and comfortable, while portaging becomes easier and much more enjoyable with the least amount of weight.  Enjoy!

Consider a family camping trip right on Birch Lake! 100 miles of wilderness shoreline with 90% of it undeveloped federal land. So private and no portages to make--a bonus for the family with young children who "can't carry their own -pack."

No permit/user fees required to camp overnight on Birch Lake. Remember, when planning family canoe trips . . . Our River Point Resort amenities and activities are available for your family to enjoy FREE of charge before and after your canoe trip: beaches, playground, sauna, hiking trail, and more.

The thirteenth person would be free with each group of 12 that are paid members of the group.

To qualify for our special Organized Non-Profit Youth Group Rates the following must be met:

  • Be a member of a Non-Profit Organization, such as the Girl and Boy Scouts of America, a Church Group, 4H Club, YMCA or YWCA, or a School, University or College.

  • Provide certificate of your group's sales tax exempt status, if applicable.

  • Provide documentation of non-profit status on organization letterhead signed by the organization chairperson.

  • Provide group member's name, address, phone number, age, and proof of age for those 16 & under.
