Skijoring

Skijoring is a unique and fast growing winter sport that combines cross country skiing and dogsledding. Originating in Scandinavia and literally meaning "ski-driving" in Norwegian, skijoring allows a dog and owner to exercise and travel together while enjoying the outdoors. Frozen lakes are great places to learn how to skijor. Many lodges and resorts welcome Skijorer's.
